Time to Play Catch Up!

Well, I must say that time is going by waaaaay too fast.  Here are some photos of what we've been up to since late October:

I feel a little silly posting photos from our Halloween party since it is almost (gasp!) Thanksgiving.

The students are loving our flexible seating.

This was our 2nd story in our Cinderella unit.  (It's one of my favorites.)

We made wigwams.

Some of the students wrote an opinion paragraph about whether or not they would want to live in a wigwam.

 We continue to work on using context clues to determine the meaning of unknown words,

and comparing and contrasting the Cinderella stories.

We have talked about how characters respond to challenges they face.

The students worked really hard on their reader's theater and they did such a great job.

We just finished our 3rd Cinderella story, Cendrillon, and will be starting Domitila.
